The seven conventions signed under the chairmanship of H.M. the King

• Framework convention relating to the integrated development of the city of Rabat 2014-2018 “Rabat City of Light, Moroccan Capital of Culture”. It was signed by Mohamed Hassad, Minister of the Interior; Ahmed Toufiq, Minister of Habous and Islamic Affairs; Mohamed Nabil Benabdellah, Minister of Housing and Urban Policy; Aziz Rabbah, Minister of Equipment, Transport, and Logistics; Mohamed Ouzzine, Minister of Youth and Sports; El Hossein El Ouardi, Minister of Health; Mohammed Amine Sbihi, Minister of Culture; Abdelâdim El Guerrouj, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Education and Vocational Training; and Idriss Azami El Idrissi, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget.

It was also signed by Abdelaâdim El Hafi, High Commissioner for Water and Forests and the Fight against Desertification; Abdelouafi Laftit, Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaër region and Governor of the Rabat prefecture; Abdelkébir Berkia, President of the Regional Council; Abdelkader Tatou, President of the Prefectural Council; Fathallah Oualalou, President of the Municipal Council; Anas Houir Alami, Director General of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG); Rabie Lakhlie, Director General of the National Office of Railways (ONCF); Toufiq Cherkaoui, Director General of the National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre, and Cartography; and Lamghari Essakel, Director General of the Bouregreg Valley Development Agency. • Investment framework convention between the State, the Bouregreg Valley Development Agency, and the investment authority Wessal Capital. It was signed by Mohamed Hassad, Aziz Rabbah, Lahcen Haddad, Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Amine Sbihi, Idriss Azami El Idrissi, Mohamed Mamoun Bouhdoud, Minister in charge of Small Businesses and Integration of the Informal Sector, Lamghari Essakl, Sheikh Faysal Al Thani, Development Director of the Qatari Sovereign Fund “Qatar Holding”, Khalifa Al Mehairi, Director General of the Emirati Sovereign Fund “Aabar Foncier”, Walled Al Fahaid, Director General of the Kuwaiti Sovereign Fund “Ajial Investment”, Abdallah Ben Ibrahim Al Ayadi, Deputy Director General of the Saudi Sovereign Fund “Public Investment Fund”, and Tarik Senhaji, Director General of the Moroccan Tourism Development Fund. • Financing partnership convention between the investment authority Wessal Capital and international and national financial institutions. It was signed by Sheikh Faysal Al Thani, Khalifa Al Mehairi, Walled Al Fahaid, Abdallah Ben Ibrahim Al Ayadi, Tarik Senhaji, Guido Prud'homme, Head of the Morocco Office at the European Investment Bank (EIB), Mohamed Kettani, Chairman and CEO of Attijariwafa Bank, Mohamed Benchaaboun, Chairman and CEO of Banque Centrale Populaire, and Othman Benjelloun, Chairman and CEO of BMCE. • Specific convention relating to the realisation of cultural components in sequence II of the Bouregreg Valley development project. It was signed by Mohamed Hassad, Lahcen Haddad, Mohamed Amine Sbihi, Idriss Azami El Idrissi, Abdelouafi Laftit, Tarik Senhaji, Lamghari Essakel, and Imad Barrakad, Chairman of the Board of the Moroccan Society of Tourism Engineering. • Specific convention relating to the realisation of the National Museum of Archaeology and Earth Sciences. It was signed by Mohamed Hassad, Lahcen Haddad, Mohamed Amine Sbihi, Idriss Azami El Idrissi, Abdelouafi Laftit, Abdelwahed Kabbaj, Chairman of the Board of the Hassan II Fund for Economic and Social Development, Lamghari Essakel, and Abdelkader Tatou. • Partnership convention relating to the urban development of the Bouregreg Valley, signed by Mohamed Hassad, Abdelouafi Laftit, Abdelkébir Berkia, Mustapha Khedri, Governor of the Salé prefecture, Fathallah Oualalou, Noureddine Lazrek, President of the Salé Municipal Council, and Lamghari Essakel. • Programme contract of the Bouregreg Valley Development Agency, signed by Mohamed Nabil Benabdellah, Aziz Rabbah, Mohamed Amine Sbihi, Idriss Azami El Idrissi, and Lamghari Essakel.
