Jazz au Chellah celebrates its reunion with the public.

From 10 to 12 May 2024, music and jazz are in the spotlight, making Rabat the capital of sharing and discovery. On the programme, exceptional musical encounters and unique fusions between European jazz and the musical repertoires of the Kingdom.

About the event:

Jazz au Chellah is a jazz festival organised every year in June in Rabat, Morocco. Created in 1996 under the name Jazz aux Oudayas, in the hall of the Oudayas museum, it has been held since 2005 in the Chellah necropolis.
Every year, for five days, about ten concerts are offered to the public, bringing together artists from various European countries and Moroccan musicians. The Jazz au Chellah festival thus contributes to strengthening intercultural dialogue between the European Union and Morocco.

Every evening, the festival stage becomes the theatre for meetings between European groups and Moroccan musicians. These associations do not only last for the duration of the festival, and Jazz au Chellah has, since its creation, helped contribute to new musical collaborations.
